After watching “What the Health” on Netflix, Colorado Springs native Patrese Evans decided to try a vegan lifestyle. When her two weeks were up, she never looked back. After seeing a hole in the marketplace for vegan desserts like she remembers from her childhood, and encouragement from her wife, she started baking her own treats. Today, her online-based Sweegan Bakery specializes in making a variety of delicious vegan desserts. As she juggles her side hustle alongside a full-time career, Patrese’s entire family helps continue to make the bakery a reality in the community.
Topics Discussed:

This was a great interview and you don’t seem to struggle with rambling at all. It was packed full of information about you but I gained knowledge of the vegan life and how this all evolved. I truly need some blueberry, lemon poundcake in my life. Keep making strides!
