Is city government doing enough to keep the citizens informed?
Is the community being informed on the status of the COVID-19? What’s lacking? Are the jails being included in the equation? How’s the co-ordination between city, the healthcare system, and county? Are we getting nothing but “Mixed Messages?” Is the information the citizens are getting accurate? Council MattersWhat is your position on “Contact Tracing?” There are privacy concerns. What can the mayor and council do to make your life less stressful during this Pandemic? Is the city dispensing information to you better, not any different, worse, than New York City? Send us your thoughts.

  1. So much depends on a thorough understanding of exactly how the SARS-2 virus is spreading. Given that our current testing does not focus on asymptomatic individuals we are crippling our ability to fully gain that understanding. I wonder if a wealthy individual might fund a private study using a statistically sound and random sampling of *only* asymptomatic persons? This would have to be done without jeopardizing the supply of testing kits to the rest of the population. But the information thus captured would be invaluable toward convincing people to mask up when outside their homes. It’s hard for many people to believe in something they cannot see. But reliable information about the danger posed by persons who appear to be perfectly healthy could offer powerful persuasion. Are you listening Mr. Anschutz?

  2. Good discussion! Bill and Bob .. you should really listen to Bret Weinstein and Heather Heying livestream episodes on YouTube. They are two PhD evolutionary biologists, husband and wife. I find their discussions to be very well-informed and wide reaching and intelligent. There are thus far 4 installments (there are other vids produced by them separately but the relevant ones are just the four livestream episodes) and they intend to continue every Tuesday and Friday for the duration.
Follow the science… I can’t say it strongly enough …. Follow The Science. Thank you for carrying on.
