What if you’re a young professional looking to get started in this town – how about some tips and tricks for getting your dream job? Chelsy shares her insight from her experiences as a young professional in Colorado Springs.
Chelsy Offutt is the Director of Communications for the Colorado Springs Convention & Visitors Bureau (CVB). She served as the Public Relations Society of America Pikes Peak Chapter President in 2014, and has been on the board since 2011. Her previous experience includes work with national auto dealer and real estate advertising agency ProConcepts, the Rocky Mountain Athletic Conference (RMAC) and Cumulus Radio (formerly Citadel Broadcasting).
Chelsy handles media and community relations, communications and social media for the CVB. This includes proactively generating awareness of and interest in Colorado Springs and the Pikes Peak Region as a leisure, business and event travel destination.
She holds a BA with honors in Communications, emphasis in Media Management, from the University of Colorado at Colorado Springs.
