Randi Hitchcock is a Colorado Springs native whose youth was defined by farm life and a year-round volleyball schedule, so she didn’t grow up hiking in the mountains or riding bikes. But after graduating college Randi returned to Colorado Springs where she met and married a man who took her to all the outdoor destinations she should have visited sooner. Her hobbies include running, bike riding, stand-up paddle boarding, and camping with her husband Steve, their son, and their dog.
She taught physical education for eight years before becoming a professional adventurer. Randi now works as the Chief Operating Officer of the outdoor adventure nonprofit UpaDowna.
