JL and Dave are a power couple in the fields of athletics and nutrition. Dave Burgess is a professional triathlon and swim coach. He runs a US Masters swim program and puts on camps and clinics for triathletes. He’s the owner and head coach of Podium Training Systems, a performance-based triathlon coaching group.
Local celebrity JL Fields left a 25-year career in the non-profit and higher education sector to become a professional vegan. She hosts the weekly radio program Easy Vegan with JL Fields and writes a monthly vegan dining review for the Colorado Springs Gazette. She’s currently working on her third and fourth vegan cookbooks.
Together they moved from New York City to Colorado Springs.
