Gary, Lyn and Dee are joined by Sean Cayton.  We discuss a variety of topics this week.  We have a lot to say about Rep. Lamborn’s possible omission from the upcoming primary ballot this year.  We discuss the congressman’s view of the military — yea for privatization, nay for the social safety net.  (A large number of our young enlisted personnel depend on government run programs to make ends meet.)  We discuss the ongoing teacher’s strikes in the US.  Teachers with decades old text books and large classroom sizes have difficulty actually teaching to our children.  We discuss the Banning Lewis Ranch annexation.  Remember there is a meeting this Wednesday, April 11th.  It will be from 6 PM to 7:30 PM at the Pikes Peak Regional Development Center, on 2880 International Circle in Colorado Springs.  Go and make your voices heard!  Your council members are planning on changing the annexation agreement, that is still valid, to the benefit of developers.  This will cost you MILLIONS of dollars.  The developers claim it will pay for itself, when has that ever turned out to be true?  We discuss the future of AI.  Do we need a Universal Basic Income?  (Can we even consider this when we don’t even agree on Universal Health Care?)  And, we discuss roads and infrastructure.
