It’s election time and one of our politicians is in hiding and the other is putting our his “Fluff” pieces hoping people will believe him and his efforts and possibly forgive him at election time in 2 years. Do we have any betting people out there?
We’ll be having some economic issues in the near future and Non Sequitur gives it 1, 2, or 3 years. Plus El Presidente doesn’t think it’s necessary to visit the troops in the war zones. “Hey! What are you afraid of? Think the people of the countries we have troops in will make a concerted effort to use you for a target?” If he’s lucky they’ll float the “Baby Trump” balloon sans diaper. Who is surprised? Trump has been avoiding combat zones all his life.
Faith based adoptions. Ever hear of them. We didn’t until an outfit in South Carolina asked HHS for permission to exclude Jewish families from being able to adopt children from their organization. To top it all off, this outfit gets federal funds to practice their discrimination.
Don’t believe what the politicians of the ‘R’ variety are telling you about healthcare. Or that Medicare, Medicaid, and Social Security are safe. You can bet that if they retain the House they’ll take another swing at the Affordable Care Act.

We finish up the Independent recommendations for this voting season. If you aren’t registered yet, don’t worry! Colorado has same day registration. So, get out there and vote. If you have already voted, go out and knock on doors.
We also discuss some Republican state efforts as voter suppression. There are some insane numbers being put up by Indiana and Georgia.
We finish up with some hopeful ideas on what we can do if we get at least a Democratic house.
