Gary, Lyn and Dee discuss topics of the day. We’ll start with Senator Gardner’s request for your feedback on taxes. And, if you don’t know what to say, we discuss what will happen to your taxes. So, give a listen and you’ll know how this proposal affects your bottom line.

We talk about Puerto Rico. Still people are without safe water and electricity. We discuss the Whitefish Energy company contract, now canceled. If you’d like to donate to a charity that is doing good there, consider Bethenny Frankel’s B Strong charity.
We discuss the changes happening to the National Park Service. Admission prices are more than doubling. For those retired Americans who can buy a lifetime pass, it is recommended that you get one. Everyone else, be prepared for insane rate hikes.
We discuss two recent Boston Globe articles concerning the hunt for a second Amazon headquarters site. The second article detailing what Amazon should do for its new location is definitely worth reading.
We end with a discussion on Universal Health Care–something every other major, industrialized country has, but we are still lacking. We have discussed this topic many times before. Universal Health Care would do a better job than what we have now, and would cost significantly less.
We forgot to mention this in the podcast, but please vote. If you’d like to hear our opinions on some of the topics, look for last week’s podcast. (We discuss most of the issues in that one. You’re on your own for school board members.)
