Gary and Lyn are having another Dee-less broadcast. They have a special guest this week, Kent Jarning. Dee is sleeping in and relaxing, or going wild making masks.
Kent Jarnig of the El Paso County Colorado Progressive Veterans (EPCCPV.org) association takes us through some of the policies of the Veterans Administration and how his organization helps Active Duty, Veterans and their dependents wade through the VA system. One of the requirements is Patience. Lots of Patience. You’ll learn that one of your assets to accomplish your goal is your U.S. Senator. In our case here in Colorado Springs, we learn that our congressman doesn’t really give two hoots about vets and their families.
We finish up with Sports Rifles, the demographic changes in Colorado Springs, the election, zoning, affordable housing, Americans For Prosperity (Whose?), and TABOR.
You’ll have to excuse the quality of the recording as the Technical Boogie Man raised his ugly head.
It is too late for the Census. Have you voted, yet? Didn’t get a ballot? Contact the County Clerk. There are many places to drop off your ballot before election day. There are no secrecy envelopes this time. Get your ballot in! Colorado starts counting them as soon as they are received. This will help get our number up earlier.
