How can we best address the challenge of reducing the number of people in the Pikes Peak Region who are homeless? Two local experts join the Colorado Springs Business Journal’s Publisher and Executive Editor Amy Gillentine for this community conversation. Beth Roalstad, executive director of Homeward Pikes Peak, and Evan Caster, manager of homeless initiatives for Community Health Partnership, share about current programs, successes and challenges. Businesses are concerned about increasing numbers of people without homes, living on the streets, particularly with rents going higher and wages staying stagnant.
