Gary, Lyn and Dee discuss politics and current events.  This week’s topics include two different takes on April 20th.  We discuss the planned student walkout on the 19th anniversary of the Columbine shooting.  19 years, and still no major gun reform.  We discuss the decriminalization of marijuana.

If you’d like to send a letter to AG Sessions regarding this, here’s the link for the form letter created by the Samantha Bee show:

We discuss the economics of gas prices, tariffs and taxes.  Pharmacy costs are also discussed.  The Republican tax bill passed in December gave huge tax cuts to many pharmaceutical concerns.  Prices of medications aren’t going down, though.  We cover the Census some more.

In good news, we’ve got a few stories.  Young people are suing the government at the state and federal level to force them to do something about climate change.  We discuss some Patriotic millionaires, including former GOP donors.  We discuss a Go Fund Me for children with cancer.  If you’d like to contribute to make the hospital stay of a young child more comfortable, here’s the link for that:

We also discuss the National Restaurateur’s Associations continued effort to underpay their workers.
