Gary, Lyn and Dee discuss current events and politics.  We start with our US Senator, Cory Gardner.  But, we quickly move to Space Force.  A new $8B service announced by the person who touches the stuff that NASA labels as sensitive equipment and “Do Not Touch.”  We converse on Health Care for All.  A new study funded by the Koch bros. Found that ‘Healthcare for All’ would cost upwards of $32.6T (that’s trillions.)  A lot of people are upset about that price tag.  What they don’t tell you is that it is less than what we pay now!  And, this coverage would include everyone, with lower deductibles and co-pays, and cover dental and vision.  Healthcare for all is a bargain, but it would put the donor class out of business.  So, let’s not hold our breath on that.  In a follow-up to last week’s story on LeBron James ‘I Promise’ school, there is a petition going around to replace Betsy DeVos with LeBron for Secretary of Education.  We at least know he cares about public school children.  We go over the leaked tape of Devin Nunes at a fundraiser explaining why they can’t impeach Rod Rosenstein until after they get Bret Kavanaugh on the Supreme Court.  In a spot of good news, the Sinclair -Tribune merger is off.  Not because anyone has a conscience there, but because the combination would be too strong a challenger for Fox ‘News.’  Lyn gives us some book reviews.  We discuss election initiatives that will be on the Colorado ballot.  We examine the insider trading allegations against Congressman Collins.  (He has since decided to suspend his re-election campaign.)  Gary gives us a list of the ‘Trumpiest Men in Congress.’  We review the good news coming out of Missouri with voters rejecting the ‘Right-to-Work’ law imposed by the statehouse there.  Colorado is a ‘Right-to-Work’ state as well.  Maybe we can get an initiative for the 2020 election to repeal that?  A US federal judge has allowed a climate change lawsuit against the current Republican administration to go forward.  We consider the new updated Canadian post offices that are designed to reduce gas used by consumers.  (They even have changing rooms and drive up service for package pick-up!)  In another Canadian story Doug Ford is promising $1 beer.  (He is the brother of Rob Ford, and now the Premier of Ontario.)
