Season Three, Episode Nine

Gary, Lyn and Dee discuss politics and current events.

Looks like we’ve gone International. Subjects like Iran, which our local congressman writes about (no he doesn’t really write this stuff himself)  in a newspaper that doesn’t reach our border, Turkey’s blackmail, and what’s this about Yellow Vests? Does it have anything to do with Macron?

A candidate loses in a Rank Choice Voting state and is now suing to overturn a state’s election laws. Talk about entitled? “Boo Hoo! I lost the election and I’m going to sue. Poor me! So unfair this democratic voting.”

With the U.S. Senate getting a couple of new members, will Mitt Romney stand up to El Presidente? Has Susan Collins been chastened enough to understand that she can’t continue waffling on issues and support her constituents?

The President’s Medal of Freedom going to the wife of El Presidente’s largest donor’s wife? Is it now the suppression of Freedom Metal?

We also cover economics & energy.  Renewable energy is now competitive with natural gas price wise.

We discuss the difference between inequality and poverty.

What happened to protecting the Constitution?  It does include the 1st Amendment, including Freedom of the Press.
