Gary, Lyn and Dee discuss the hot topic of the week–US House of Representatives has started formal impeachment hearings of Trump.  At last count, 225 members supported impeachment, including one Republican (no word on who that is.)

Congressman Doug Lamborn sends out his “non-original” memo and the gang of three rip it apart. Poor, Dougie, plagiarism just doesn’t work for him.

The whistle blower memo and the phone conversation take up the majority of today’s show. We briefly talk about the ICIG report and the OLC decision. How does a chief of staff get the authority to delay monies to a country that Congress has approved? Maybe you can explain it to us.

Chief Justice John Roberts will preside over the Impeachment Trial. Will he tow the party line or will he put his legacy front and center? We know that Senators Cory Gardner and Susan Collins will be conflicted. How many other Republican senators will be too? Romney? Sasse?

This is going to be a hot topic and much will change between weeks.  We urge everyone to find the documents to read themselves.  Only a summary of the phone call transcript can be easily found, which omits a lot of stuff. (In the summary, Joe Biden is only mentioned once.  In the full transcript he is mentioned eight times.  The omission of all these other times, definitely alters the representation of the phone call.) The full whistle blower complaint is not edited and should definitely be read.

Is Fox News getting ready for a post-Trump era? One can hope.
